Last Squad Standing (iOS and Android) · Last updated: 27 October 2026
Last Squad Standing is a mobile game published by Yoni Assouline, an individual developer based in Ashdod, Israel ("we"). This policy explains what data the game collects, why, and the choices you have. Contact: netayo26@gmail.com. You can also open this policy in the game (Settings > Help and info > Policy) and from its consent screens.
What we collect, and why
- Rewarded ads (Unity LevelPlay and ironSource Ads). The game shows ads only when you choose to watch one for a reward. On iPhone, our ad partner's software starts only after you answer Apple's tracking prompt, and in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland only after you answer the consent screen; it receives your device's advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you allow tracking in Apple's prompt; on Android, the Google advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your phone's settings), information about the ads you see and tap, and technical performance data. This is used to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, and, if you allow it, to personalise ads. Unity's practices are described in the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
- Online play (Unity Gaming Services). If you play MULTIPLAYER, LAST STAND or co-op, the game signs you in anonymously (no email, no name, no account) and creates a random player ID. Your approximate region, derived from your IP address, is used to pick the closest relay server, and your nickname and in-game profile (hero, skin, aura, level) are shared with the players in your match or room. When nobody joins a MULTIPLAYER match, computer-controlled teammates fill the squad; they are labeled "AI" and are not real players.
- Nickname, leaderboard and reports (our own server). To play online you choose a nickname (letters and digits only, filtered for rude words on your device and on our server). Other players see it in MULTIPLAYER, in co-op and, in LAST STAND, on the public weekly and all-time leaderboards. For LAST STAND, the game sends our own server (hosted by Cloudflare) a random leaderboard ID created by the game (different from the statistics ID and from the advertising ID, with a secret key so that nobody else can post for you), your nickname, and the time survived and zombies killed in each LAST STAND run; your nickname and best times are public in the game. Any player can report and block a nickname (REPORT / BLOCK): it is hidden at once for that player and kept out of their public matches, and hidden for everyone after 3 reports; we keep the reports to apply this. There is no chat. We keep leaderboard entries as long as the leaderboards exist. You can delete them yourself at any time: Settings > Help and info > Your data > Online data > Delete erases your nickname, your scores, the reports you made and received, and the game statistics of your device from our server. You can also email us.
- Game statistics (our own). To improve the game, it sends anonymous gameplay statistics to our own server (hosted by Cloudflare): a random ID created by the game on your device (never linked to your name, email or advertising ID), the app version, phone model, operating system, language and country (derived from your IP address, which we do not store), and what happens in the game (screens and modes used, runs, levels, weapons, time played, frame rate and memory, in-game spending, rewarded ads watched, purchases by product), and technical error reports (the error message, without personal data). We use them only to balance and fix the game, we do not share them with anyone, and we delete them after 13 months. They are sent only if you agree on the screen shown at first launch ("Let's go" on the welcome screen; in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, "Accept" on the consent screen). Before you answer, nothing is sent and no ID is created. You can turn them off at any time in the game: Settings > Help and info > Your data > Statistics.
- In-app purchases. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment details.
- Your progress (coins, gems, heroes, settings) is stored only on your device.
We do not sell your data and we have no account system. Our only server stores the game statistics, nicknames, leaderboard entries and reports described above.
Every partner that receives data from the game (Unity and ironSource for ads and online play, Cloudflare for our statistics and leaderboard server, Apple and Google for purchases) provides the same or equal protection of your data as stated in this policy.
Your choices
- Tracking (iOS): the game asks for permission before any cross-app tracking, with Apple's prompt shown at first launch, after the welcome screen and a short explanation screen (in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, right after you accept on the consent screen; if you refuse there, there is no tracking and the prompt is never shown). You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or from the game: Settings > Help and info > Your data > Ads. Refusing does not change anything in the game.
- Advertising ID (Android): you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads at any time in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Google > Ads). This does not change anything in the game.
- Ad consent (EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland): the game asks for your consent to personalised ads and game statistics on first launch. You can change it at any time in the game: Settings > Help and info > Your data > Ads.
- Game statistics and error reports: the game asks on first launch, in every country; "No stats" or "Refuse" means nothing is sent. Turn them off at any time in the game: Settings > Help and info > Your data > Statistics.
- You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the game.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to its use. Since the game has no accounts, most data is held by our partners; email us and we will help you exercise your rights with them. The data on our own server can be deleted from the game (Settings > Help and info > Your data > Online data > Delete). You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
